Notice on the Revision of the "Basic Policy for the Promotion of Contracts Considering Reduction of Emissions of Greenhouse Gases and Others by the State and Other Entities" and the Outcome of Public Comments

Cabinet decision was made with regard to the revision of "the Basic Policy for the Promotion of Contracts Considering Reduction of Emissions of Greenhouse Gases and Others by the State and Other Entities" based on "the Act on Promotion of Contracts of the State and Other Entities, Which Show Consideration for Reduction of Emissions of Greenhouse Gases, etc."(hereinafter called the Green Contract Act)
In this revision, the basic matters, etc. in "Contracts Related to the Supply of Electricity" have been reviewed and revised.
In addition to the above, the outcome of public comments that were collected from　November 6 to December 5, 2017 are also notified.

1, Main Point of the Revision

Contracts Related to the Supply of Electricity
The statement, "for securing stable supplies" in the Basic Policy is deleted as the situations of electricity has been changed since when the original Act put in force.
