Environmental Radiation Data Website Launched

On Tuesday, October 17, the Ministry of the Environment (MOE) established a website to provide environmental radiation survey data. The MOE has been monitoring atmospheric radioactive rays since the year 2000 at monitoring stations nationwide, mainly in remote islands where there is comparatively less influence of human activity. Radiation data are measured automatically and transmitted to the MOE online. The environmental radiation monitoring data can be viewed at http://housyasen.taiki.go.jp/ (in Japanese).
