Public Comment Invited regarding Draft Report on Reviewing the Implementation status of Cartagena Law

The Sub-committee on the Genetically Modified Organisms of the Central Environment Council finalized the draft report on reviewing the implementation status of Cartagena Law (Law concerning the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Biological Diversity through Regulations on the Use of Living Modified Organism) which was enforced in 2004. The Ministry of the Environment (MOE) invites comments from the public for the draft report. Comments will be accepted from March 10 to April 8, 2016. Comments need to be submitted in Japanese.
