Revision of Basic Policy for the Promotion of Procurement of Eco-Friendly Goods and Services and Results of Public Comments
Under the Act on Promotion of Procurement of Eco-Friendly Goods and Services by the State and Other Entities (Act on Promoting Green Purchasing), the MOE of Japan has announced that the revision of the Basic Policy for the Promotion of Procurement of Eco-Friendly Goods and Services was approved at the Cabinet Meeting.
In this revision, "evaluation criteria" and "factors for consideration" of 46 items were partly revised.
Also, the MOE of Japan had compiled the draft of the revision of the designated procurement items and their evaluation criteria. Public comments on this draft were received from November 9, 2015 to December 3, 2015. The overview of the comments and MOE's corresponding responses are announced.
