The Upcoming Eighth Meeting of the Regional EST Forum in Asia

The MOE of Japan, the United Nations Centre for Regional Development (UNCRD), Ministry of Environment and Renewable Energy (MERE) of Sri Lanka, Ministry of Transport (MOT) of Sri Lanka and Clean Air Asia will jointly organize the Integrated Conference of Better Air Quality (BAQ) 2014 and Intergovenmental Eighth Regional EST (Environmentally Sustainable Transport) Forum in Asia in Colombo, Sri Lanka on November 19-21, 2014 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, under the theme of Next Generation Solution for Clean Air and Transport - towards Sustainable and Livable Society in Asia.

With the objective of achieving environmentally sustainable transport, the Regional EST Forum in Asia, a high-level policy dialogue is currently attended by 24 Asian countries. The MOE of Japan will continue its active efforts towards achieving environmentally sustainable transport in the Asian region, in cooperation with related agencies including the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan.
