Announcement on the application certification system for business detoxifying waste, low-contaminated PCB waste (Foundation Ehime Prefecture Waste Treatment)

To promote the appropriate treatment of PCB waste, the MOE implemented a certification system for businesses detoxifying waste, low-contaminated PCB waste using sophisticated technologies in compliance with Waste Management and Public Cleansing Law.
The Minister has announced today that an application has been submitted by the Foundation Ehime Prefecture Waste Treatment. Their application documents will be open for public inspection for 1 month, from December 28, 2012 to January 28, 2013. Stakeholders interested in the relevant facilities may submit their comments to the Minister from the perspective of life environment conservation by February 12, 2013. All comments should be submitted in Japanese.
