Lifestyle Forum 2006 to be Held

Following the 3rd Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP3) held in Kyoto in 1997, the Ministry of the Environment decided to designate the month of December as the Global Warming Prevention Month beginning in 1998. During this month, various events and activities that help make the public become more aware of global warming prevention efforts are held throughout Japan. As one of its events this year, Lifestyle Forum 2006 will be held at the Shinjuku Gyoen 100th Anniversary Pavilion in Tokyo, Japan, on November 11th (Saturday) and 12th (Sunday).
The Forum will feature a session on various environmental efforts people can make in this era of the environment. There will also be forums on different topics, nature observation, exhibitions by NPOs, and booths for children.
