Announcement on the application for certification for the business of detoxifying low-contaminated PCB waste (KUREHA ECOLOGY MANAGEMENT CO., LTD)

To promote the appropriate treatment of PCB waste, the MOE implemented a certification system for businesses detoxifying low-contaminated PCB waste using sophisticated technologies in compliance with Waste Management and Public Cleansing Law.
The Minister has announced today that an application has been submitted by KUREHA ECOLOGY MANAGEMENT CO., LTD. Their application documents will be open for public inspection for 1 month, from October 23, 2012 to November 22, 2012. Stakeholders interested in the relevant facilities may submit their comments to the Minister from the perspective of life environment conservation by December 6, 2012. All comments should be submitted in Japanese.
