Announcement of certification system application for business to detoxify low-level PCB waste

To promote the appropriate treatment of PCB waste, the MOE implemented a certification system for businesses detoxifying low-level PCB waste using sophisticated technologies in compliance with the Waste Management and Public Cleansing Law.
The Minister announced today that an application has been submitted by FUJI CLEAN CO., LTD. The application documents will be open for public inspection for one month, from October 3 to November 2, 2012. Stakeholders interested in the relevant facilities may submit their comments to the Minister from the perspective of life environment conservation by November 16, 2012. All comments should be submitted in Japanese.
