Results of the 2012 World Conservation Congress
The 2012 World Conservation Congress organized by the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources was held September 6-15, 2012 in Jeju, Republic of Korea.
At the Congress, Shinichi Kitajima was elected as the new Regional Councilor for South and East Asia, and more than 180 motions on issues regarding the conservation of biodiversity were adopted.
