The Sixth Meeting of the Regional EST Forum in Asia Held
The MOE of Japan, United Nations Centre for Regional Development (UNCRD), Ministry of Urban Development of India, and World Health Organization South-East Asia Regional Office (WHO/SEARO) jointly organized the Sixth Meeting of the Regional EST (Environmentally Sustainable Transport) Forum in Asia on December 4-6, 2011 at the Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi, India.
The Regional EST Forum in Asia is a high-level policy dialogue among governments in Asian nations with the objective of achieving environmentally sustainable transport in Asian region.
As a key result of the Sixth Meeting, further promotion of the EST in Asian region was confirmed toward achieving the goals outlined in the Bangkok 2020 Declaration.
