Brief Report of the 9th Workshop on Greenhouse Gas Inventories in Asia (WGIA9)

The MOE of Japan and the National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES) together with the MOE of Cambodia convened on July 13-15 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, the 9th Workshop on Greenhouse Gas Inventories in Asia (WGIA9). The workshop was attended by 75 participants in total, including government and research representatives of 14 countries (Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Lao P.D.R., Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Philippines, Republic of Korea, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam), in addition to representatives of 1 international organization, the Technical Support Unit of the IPCC Task Force on National Greenhouse Gas Inventories (IPCC TFI TSU), a representative of United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), and members of the Regional Capacity Building Project for Sustainable National Greenhouse Gas Inventory Management Systems in Southeast Asia (SEA GHG Project).
