Publication of Environmental Statistics 2011

The MOE has published the "Environmental Statistics 2011" which contains the compilation of data related to the state of the environment, burdens on the environment, and the measures taken for the protection of the environment.

To understand the environment of Japan and the relation to its economic activity, a statistic table of the environment investment to the enterprise was newly added as a primary source. In the first part of the statistics, there are graphs related to individual environmental matters. The progress of the Basic Environment Plan is also explained by using comprehensive environmental indicators. In addition, some tables refer to corresponding content by the page numbers of the "2010 Annual Report on the Environment, the Sound Material-Cycle Society and the Biodiversity in Japan."
