Result of the Director General Level Meeting concerning KLH-MOEJ Joint Program for Enhancement of Environmental Management Capacity in Indonesia

The MOE of Japan (MOEJ) held the above-mentioned meeting with the State Ministry of Environment, Republic of Indonesia (KLH) on March 4, 2011, in Tokyo (venue: Ministry Meeting Room, MOEJ, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo).

The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB), MOEJ and the Deputy VII, KLH made the minutes of the meeting and both Director Generals signed on it.
They agreed as follows:

- Deputy VII-KLH and EMB-MOEJ will start cooperative activity to realize enhancement of environmental management capacity in enterprises in Indonesia with dissemination of environmental technologies, introducing cleaner production, promoting environmental management system and providing capacity building by developing the "comprehensive policy package" under close mutual cooperation among all stakeholders.
- Deputy VII-KLH and EMB-MOEJ will jointly take an initiative to engage in (1) Policy Dialogue, (2) Joint Policy Research, (3) Workshop/Seminar, and (4) Study tour in Japan, and actively participate in KONFERENSI & PAMERAN Teknologi Ramah Lingkungan (KPTRL) and the 10th Asia Pacific Roundtable for Sustainable Consumption & Production (APRSCP) in 2011.

For Japanese
