Results of the 4th Workshop on the Reduction of Unintentional Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) in East Asian Countries

The MOE of Japan held the above-mentioned workshop last December 14-15, 2010, in Mita Kaigisho, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
Approximately 50 administrative officers and experts from 11 East Asian countries (Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Malaysia, Mongolia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam), the U.S.A, Germany, the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) participated in the workshop.
The workshop adopted the chairman's summary as attached.
