Seminar on Invasive Alien Species -follow up of CBD-COP10- held by the MOE

The MOE of Japan together with the United Nations University Institute for Sustainability and Peace (UNU-ISP) and the National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES) will hold the Seminar on Invasive Alien Species -follow up of CBD-COP10-, on December 17, 2010, in Japanese, at Elizabeth Rose Conference Hall, United Nations University. In this seminar, we will show the result of the discussion on invasive alien species in The Tenth Meeting of the Parities to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD-COP10) and the examples of various measures against invasive alien species in Japan.

Your participation will be highly appreciated. Please note that registration is needed by December 15 to participate in the seminar, and hence mail should be sent to the address "cop10@omc.co.jp". In addition, an ID card will be needed to participate in the seminar.
