Result of the 4th Meeting of the Vietnam-Japan Joint Study Group for Cooperation Activities on Environmental Management

The MOE of Japan held the above-mentioned closed-door meeting with the Institute of Science for Environmental Management, the Vietnam Environment Administration (ISEM-VEA), the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on the 7th of September, 2010, in Hanoi, Vietnam.

1. They discussed about the themes and contents of the Joint Policy Research in FY 2010 and agreed on the outline of them.
- Plan of the Joint Policy Research and its Field Study in FY 2010
- Target items of policy proposal for VEA in the Joint Policy Research

2. The Vietnamese side reported recent topics concerning optimization plans of environmental laws and institutions.

3. They agreed on basic principle and the outline of the planned workshop in Hanoi to be scheduled in November. The detailed plan of the workshop will be announced later.
