Public Comments Invited Regarding the "Proposed Revision of Provisional Guidelines for Prevention of Water Pollution by Agricultural Chemicals Used in Golf Courses"

The MOE is soliciting public comments regarding the "Proposed Revision of Provisional Guidelines for the Prevention of Water Pollution by Agricultural Chemicals Used in Golf Courses". The deadline for submission of comments is on September 7, 2010.
The proposed revision contains new reference values for effluent concentrations of 29 agricultural chemicals used in golf courses. It is also proposed that reference values for 17 agricultural chemicals should be revised and 2 agricultural chemicals (Isofenphos and Methyldymron) should be deleted from the provisional guidelines. (See accompanying tables).
All public procedures for this issue will be conducted in Japanese. Comments should therefore be submitted in Japanese.
