"Biodiversity EXPO 2010 in Fukuoka" to be held

The MOE will host the "Biodiversity EXPO 2010 in Fukuoka" on February 26-28, which will be the first exhibition of this kind in Japan.
The expo aims to provide a place to promote information exchange and new collaborations among the private enterprises and groups concerning biodiversity so as to encourage the revitalization of the activities contributing to conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity. It also aims to disseminate the significance of biodiversity to the visitors to the site through explanations of biodiversity-conscious products and services. A talk show on biodiversity with Sakana-kun of the "Life on Earth" Supporters' Club is also scheduled to take place on February 27.
No admission fee is required.
