Dioxins Emission Inventory for 2008

The MOE has compiled the Dioxins Emissions Inventory of Japan for 2008. The national amount of dioxins (PCDDs, PCDFs and coplanar PCBs) in Japan for 2008 was estimated to be 215-223g-TEQ over the year.

Emissions from 1997 to 2007 used WHO-TEF(1998), and emissions in 2008 used WHO-TEF(2006) where possible.
