International Meeting for Promoting Asia-Pacific Biodiversity Observation Network (AP-BON)

Global scale biodiversity observations are urgently required for decision making in conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity particularly in Asia-Pacific region which experiences rapid economic growth and biodiversity loss.
This International Meeting is held to review the existing biodiversity observation activities and to promote those networking in Asia-Pacific region among researchers and relevant organizations, in order to achieve a significant reduction of the current rate of biodiversity loss.
