Air Pollution Control Promotion Month

Since 1988, the MOE has designated every December as "Air Pollution Control Promotion Month" as air quality gets worse in winter. During this month, the MOE, the Environmental Restoration and Conservation Agency (ERCA) and other national and local governments will hold various public awareness activities, such as poster contests, newspaper publicity, and creating TV or radio programs related to the event. Through these efforts, it will surely raise public awareness in promoting air pollution control.
