Public Comments Invited regarding the Draft Partially Amending the Enforcement Regulations for the Act on Regulation, Etc. of Emissions from Non-Road Special Motor Vehicles

The Ministry of Environment (MOE) invites comments from a broad spectrum of the public regarding the draft partially amending the Enforcement Regulations for the Act on Regulation, Etc. of Emissions from Non-Road Special Motor Vehicles. This draft enhances emission standards for diesel-powered special motor vehicles reflecting the Ninth Report of Future Policy for Motor Vehicle Emission Reduction of the Central Environment Council. The Act on Regulation, Etc. of Emissions from Non-Road Special Motor Vehicles is under the co-jurisdiction of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and the MOE; however, procedures related to public comments will be carried out by the MOE. All written procedures related to this invitation for public comment are to be conducted in Japanese. Therefore, comments should be submitted in Japanese.
