Results of Monitoring Atmospheric Asbestos Concentrations in FY 2008
To understand the current state of asbestos air pollution and to get basic information for future measures, the Ministry of the Environment (MOE) has monitored atmospheric asbestos concentrations in 50 areas (149 points) in FY 2008. The results do not indicate hazardous levels of asbestos either in the atmosphere or in the areas bordering demolition work sites, except for some areas inside those demolition sites.
