Eco Car World 2009 (Low Emission Vehicle Fair) upcoming

On June 6th and 7th this year, the Ministry of the Environment will be holding "Eco Car World 2009" in Yokohama. Eco Car World will enhance the public understanding and acceptance of low emission vehicles and their favorable environmental effects in preventing global warming and reducing the emission of air pollutants such as nitrogen oxide (NOx) and particulate matter (PM). The clean-air benefits of low emission vehicles are especially welcome in metropolitan areas. Automakers at the fair will be exhibiting various low emission vehicles and offering test drives to the public. Educational activities to enhance public awareness of Eco Driving will also be held.
