The 2nd Anniversary of Kyoto Protocol Special Event Committee "The risk around yourself . you can change the future will take place at Shinjuku Park Tower on February 14 (Wednesday) and 15 (Thursday).

This event has an objective to encourage people to think about what they can do for global warming mitigation, providing the latest scientific information regarding global warming mitigation, based on the concept that 2007 is a milestone year before the 1st term from 2008 to 2012 defined by Kyoto Protocol to achieve to reduce 6% of Japan's greenhouse gas emission.

The special exhibition displays it visually how the carbon dioxide (CO2) emission reduction has been developing as the environmental technology advances, focused on household appliances (February 14 and 15). The stage program includes a special seminar "when facing the risk of global warming" (February 14) and a special talk session to understand the global warming situation and discuss how to change the future (February 15).
