Environmental Event "Stories of Peter Rabbit and Beatrix Potter" - Natural Life lasting 100 years - to be held

On August 20 (Sunday) at Stop Ondankan (Minato-ku, Tokyo) held an event "Stories of Peter Rabbit and Beatrix Potter" - Natural Life lasting 100 years - sponsored by the Japan Center for Climate Change Actions.

This event takes place as a kick-off of "Peter Rabbit and Global Warming," which suggests a natural life effective to mitigating global warming, learning through the world of Peter Rabbit based on the lake district of England and its author Beatrix Potter (1866-1943)'s concern for conservation of natural environment, brought up by the fact that "Peter Rabbit" became a member of "Team minus 6%" in December 2005. Various events include a talk show with a Beatrix Potter specialist and a guest carrying out environment-friendly lifestyle, panel exhibition, and appealing to take part in signature panel for global warming mitigation.
