Minister of the Environment will attend to "JAL's 'Team minus 6%' Special Designed Airplane Service-in Ceremony"

Minister of the Environment Koike will attend "JAL's 'Team minus 6%' Special Designed Airplane Service-in Ceremony" planned at 7am on June 7 (Wednesday).

JAL launches service-in of special designed airplane with a logo of "Team minus 6%" on its body from June 7, and shows a video about global warming produced by Ministry of the Environment on all of its domestic flights operating out of Haneda Airport to appeal its passengers to join "Team minus 6%."

At the ceremony, a model plane will be presented to Minister Koike by Mr. Nishimatsu, President and CEO, and furoshiki to the passengers of the flight and encouraged to reduce plastic shopping bags.

     * In addition, JAL will display small campaign logo stickers (30cmx30cm) near entrance doors of 3 flights that specially designed for FIFA World Cup Japan Team
2. Showing a video to promote awareness of global warming
   From June 1st to 30th, JAL will start showing a video about global warming produced by Ministry of the Environment on all of its domestic flights operating out of Haneda Airport. Also the flights equip application form of "Team minus 6%" and appeal the passengers to take part in "Team minus 6%."
   *The video will not be shown in the aircrafts without TV monitor.
