Onnenai Visitor Center

Approximately 20 minutes from Kushiro Airport and Kushiro city center. Located on the western edge of Kushiroshitsugen National Park.
The Kushiroshitsugen has the only marshland wooden path course to enable viewing of the flowers and wild birds unique to the area. The Center introduces the highlights of the natural environment as it changes through the seasons. Visit the Center before beginning your walk.

Lake Toro Eco Museum Center "Arukotto"

Lake Toro Eco Museum Center Arukotto
Located on the southern shore of Lake Toro to the east of the Kushiroshitsugen National Park, the Center employs a theme of water as it flows through the ever-changing marshland supporting the unique and diverse natural environment, as well as plant and animal life.

Kushiroshitsugen Wildlife Center

The building is divided into the exhibit facility for general use, and a research facility. The exhibit facility includes panels introducing the animals living in the Doto(Eastern Hokkaido) area, and protection of the wetlands. The Kushiroshitsugen Ranger Station also functions as a research facility, and is engaged in investigations to monitor and research the marshlands, protection of injured rare birds of prey, and protection of the marshland in cooperation with local organizations.

Shirarutoro Nature Center

An unmanned facility at the Lake Shirarutoro campsite. Introduces the biology of the Kushiro Marsh and Lake Shirarutoro using a wide range of panel exhibits. Has a comprehensive range of plant and animal samples encased in transparent resin. Use these to verify butterflies, dragon flies, and flowers found in the camp and on the walks.
