The 19th Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer Held in Montreal

The 19th Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer was held from September 17th through the 21st, 2007 in Montreal, Canada.
In the meeting, the Parties settled the Adjustment of the Protocol, which accelerates the implementation of the phase-out schedule for hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs.) In addition, since this year marks the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the Montreal Protocol, the Parties adopted the Montreal Declaration, which affirms the achievement of the Protocol over the last twenty years, and at the same time reaffirms future efforts to protect the ozone layer.
