Results of the Ministerial Regional Forum on Environment and Health

The Ministerial Regional Forum on Environment and Health was held on August 8-9, 2007, in Bangkok, Thailand. The ministerial level officials responsible for the environment and health attended the meeting from Asian countries. The strategies and policies for both the environment and health issues were discussed and the "Charter of the Regional Forum on Environment and Health - Southeast and East Asian Countries" and the "Bangkok Declaration on Environment and Health" were adopted. Mr. Tomokatsu KITAGAWA, Parliamentary Secretary of the Environment, attended the meeting representing Japan.
