Amendment to Cabinet Order for Act on Asbestos Health Damage Relief, etc.

To begin the collection of contributions from business operators for appropriation of asbestos relief benefit payments on April 1, 2007, the amendments below will be promulgated on December 20, 2006.

1. Cabinet Order Partially Amending the Enforcement Ordinance for the Act on Asbestos Health Damage Relief

The purpose of this amendment is to prescribe the method of calculation of the General Contribution Rate, the conditions of being a Special Business Operator, and the method of calculation of the Special Contributions, etc.

2. Ministerial Ordinance Partially Amending the Enforcement Regulation of the Act on Asbestos Health Damage Relief (The part which relates to the Ministry of Environment)

The purpose of this amendment is to prescribe the procedure of payment of "Paragraph 2 General Contributions" or Special Contributions, etc.
