The MOE selected verification organizations and invites for target verification technology submissions for ETV Project concerning Heat-Island Mitigation Technologies to Reduce Air Conditioning and Other Loads by Using Building Envelope Systems in FY2009.

The Ministry of the Environment (MOE) has selected the Japan Testing Center for Construction Materials, the Osaka Prefectural Government's Research Institute of the Environment, Agriculture and Fisheries, and the Japan Paint Inspection and Testing Association as verification organizations.

Target verification technology submissions for the Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) Project concerning Heat-Island Mitigation Technologies to Reduce Air Conditioning and Other Loads by Using Building Envelope Systems in FY2009 are also being invited by each organization. Submissions must be received by August 28, 2009.

The ETV Project is a program launched by the MOE in FY2008 in order to undertake the trial implementation of advanced environmental technologies and objectively verify their performances based on the experience of pilot projects from the FY2003 ETV.
