Abstract
The Nikkei Net-Zero Project, operated by Nikkei Inc., is now in its fourth year. The project engages in discussions with leading companies, experts, and government officials aiming to realize a decarbonized society, and continuously disseminates information.
For 2024, we are focusing on "biodiversity," "corporate sustainability information disclosure," and "energy" as key themes.
At this seminar in the COP29 Japan Pavilion, we will confirm the impact of climate change on corporate activities, international rulemaking and how companies should approach it, and introduce the initiatives of each company participating in the Nikkei Net-Zero Project.
We will clearly communicate how Japanese companies can play a leading role in addressing climate change and examine and disseminate what is needed and what can be done to further accelerate efforts towards a decarbonized society.Program
