Abstract
Currently, digitalization is progressing rapidly around the world, and socio-economic activities are shifting to activities that assume the utilization of the Internet. However, mainly in developing countries, there are many people who are unable to benefit from digitalization due to the lack of communication infrastructure, especially in rural areas.
In order to solve the digital divide and realize digital society in which no one is left behind, it is necessary to urgently develop communication and digital infrastructure. However, in some cases, existing systems suffer from power shortages and a large burden on the environment.
Taking these issues into consideration, this seminar will focus on ICT x Green as a theme for improving the ICT network environment from the perspectives such as power saving and visualization of carbon dioxide emissions, in order to contribute to global warming countermeasures and reducing the burden on the global environment.Program
