Details

Abstract

Achieving net zero is an extremely challenging target and requires Green Transformation (GX) to transform industrial and social structures from fossil-fuel based to clean energy-oriented. To realize GX, it is most important to achieve effective transition to decarbonization, while taking into account the national differences in industrial, energy-supply, and social structures, as well as in the geographical conditions.
At this seminar, we are to identify the ways for the future through a broad-ranged and thorough discussion among experts and officials invited from businesses, financial institutes, and governments on the subjects of:
the current situation of, and the challenges in, the technological and product development (such as hydrogen and ammonia) to make smoother transition;
necessary measures to disseminate transitional finances; and
other policies and institutions required.
