Ceremony of Sustainability Award 2023

Parliamentary Vice-Minister Asahi participated in the ceremony of the Sustainability Award 2023. This award is an initiative that calls for videos to introduce actions in Japan for sustainable production, services, and products in the fields of agriculture, forestry, fisheries and food to people in Japan and abroad. He presented the certificate of the Environment Minister’s Award to an agricultural producer in Ibaraki Prefecture who works on local production for local consumption by composting (recycling) food residue, producing through organic farming and eliminating food loss and waste at the time of sale.
