Symposium commemorating the 30th anniversary of registration of Yakushima Island as World Natural Heritage Site

Minister Ito visited Yakushima Town in Kagoshima Prefecture to participate in a symposium commemorating the 30th anniversary of registration of Yakushima Island as a World Natural Heritage Site. He also visited Western Forest Road and Shiratani Unsuikyo Ravine to check the state of conservation and management of Yakushima.
