Launch of Strategic Program for ASEAN Climate and Environment (SPACE)

Minister Nishimura proposed the Strategic Program for ASEAN Climate and Environment (SPACE) at the ASEAN-Japan Ministerial Dialogue on Environment and Climate Change held in Vientiane, Lao PDR, which was welcomed by ASEAN countries. He also met with H.E. Ms. Bounkham Vorachit, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of Lao PDR, and visited exhibitions on advanced environmental products and services from Japanese and Lao PDR companies.
