In the presence of Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress, State Minister Yamada participated in the 41st National Convention for the Development of an Abundantly Productive Sea, subtitled "Miketsukuni Hyogo (the land that produced food for the Imperial Court)," in Akashi City, Hyogo Prefecture. At the ceremony, she presented the Minister of the Environment's Prize to an organization for its achievements in creating an abundantly productive sea, and released young red sea bream into the sea.
