The First Committee for the Comprehensive Assessment on Biodiversity in FY2008 to be Held
In response to the Third National Biodiversity Strategy of Japan endorsed by the Cabinet last November, the Japanese Ministry of the Environment has started the development of indices to grasp the current condition and changes of biodiversity in Japan from FY2008, and will conduct a comprehensive assessment of biodiversity using those indices.
