The Ministry of the Environment's Opinions on the Follow-up Report of the Environmental Impact Assessment Review of the Isahaya Bay Reclamation Project

A follow-up report has been submitted to the Ministry of the Environment (MOE) on the basis of the opinions of the MOE on a report of the environmental impact assessment review of the Isahaya Bay reclamation project. The MOE pointed out that the necessary continual surveys and measures should be undertaken in cooperation with related organizations because the water quality of the regulating pond has not achieved the environmental protection target and because the impact to Isahaya Bay and its birds has not yet been clearly revealed enough.
