Public Comments Invited: Regarding the Amendment Regulation Enforcement Concerning the Cabinet Ordered Conservation of Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora Act

Ministry of the Environment is designating endangered, wild flora and fauna species to the 'National Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.' The act will prohibit (in principle) the capture and assignmentm and where necessary the preservation of the species via the implementation of the 'Natural Habitat Conservation Area' designated conservation and breeding project.
The MOE has recently dissolved (1 kind) and designated (9 kinds) to the 'National Endangered Species of Wild Flora and Fauna.' There was also a designation (1 kind) to the 'Designated National Endangered Species' and the compiling of the Enforcement of Amendment Regulation of the 'Cabinet Order for the Implementation of the Law for the Conservation of Endangered Species of Wild Flora and Fauna.' This was done in order to change various things, like their scientific names, based on the latest knowledge.
The MOE invites comments from the public regarding the amendment. Comments will be accepted from June 2, 2008 to July 1, 2008 through mail, fax and e-mail.
