The 1st Asia-Pacific Water Summit and The 2nd International WEPA (Water Environment Partnership in Asia) Forum To Be Held on December 3-4 in Beppu. (Announcement)

An executive member of the Ministry of the Environment Japan (MOEJ) as a representative of the Japanese government, will give a welcome address at the "Regional Launch for the International Year of Sanitation 2008"; a session of the 1st Asia-Pacific Water Summit which will be held on December 3-4, 2007 in Beppu, Oita Prefecture.
At the same time, the 2nd International WEPA Forum will be organized by the MOEJ, as an open event of the Asia-Pacific Water Summit. At the forum, researchers, government officers and other participants will report upon 42 case studies related to policies contributing to water environment improvement, regional social activities and applicable technologies in Southeast and East Asia.
