MOE Japan Selected an Application for the FY2022 Demonstration Project for Accelerating Practical Use of Innovative CO2 Emission Reduction Infection Control Technologies (First Round)

    Development and demonstration of a dissemination model through the introduction of
    infection control AI smart air-conditioning system at department stores

Project outline:

In order to flexibly deal with the post-corona/with-corona society, MOE Japan has been making efforts for technological demonstration based on Japanese innovative technologies with the aim of expanding various use cases, and will further accelerate verification and implementation of CO2 emission reduction technologies and other technologies that will contribute to creating a safe and secure hygienic environment and new lifestyles. Furthermore, MOE Japan will implement subsidiary projects to support the development of green solutions by using digital technologies, thereby aim at the greening of new lifestyles. For these purposes, MOE Japan solicited proposals publicly from private companies, public research institutes, and universities, etc. regarding the development and demonstration of technologies that would not be sufficiently promoted only through voluntary efforts in the private sector.
