Preparatory Meeting for Establishing "African Clean Cities Platform"

Ministry of the Environment, Japan and Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) are co-organizing the preparatory meeting for establishing "African Clean Cities Platform" at Maputo, Mozambique toward realizing clean cities and healthy life in Africa, with 25 African countries, UNEP, UN-HABITAT and Yokohama City, from 25 to 27 April 2017.

This meeting is planned to adopt a declaration in the last day to establish the platform that aims at sharing knowledge and experiences on waste management in Africa.
