There will be a symposium in Tokyo on marine litter.

International and domestic Symposium on marine litter will be held in Tokyo on Saturday December 10, 2016.

Since the problem on marine litter has become serious, the high interest was paid as the world common problem that should be settled during G7 Ise - Shima Summit, Toyama Environment Ministers' Meeting and Ibaraki, Tsukuba Science and Technology Ministers' Meeting.

At the symposium, we introduce action stimulated by overseas experts and domestic various entities.　We would like people who are interested in the marine litter problem to participate in the symposium.

■ Participation fee：free (pre-registration required)

■ Maximum capacity：300 persons (in the order of registration)

  • Let us know which part of the symposium you would like to participate in. You can also choose to participate in the full day.
  • Eating and drinking in the venue is prohibited.
  • Please do not leave any trash (There are no trash cans in the venue).

2. How to register

We have committed the secretariat and registration for participating to IDEA Consultants ,Inc. Please apply to them with the following explanation no later than December 6 (Tuesday).

Note; We have only 300 sheets on December 10. We cannot accept your registration if the number of participants reaches our capacity.
