The 12th Conference of the Parties (COP12) to the UNFCCC, and the 2nd Conference of the Parties Serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (COP/MOP2)

The 12th Conference of the Parties (COP12) to the UNFCCC, and the 2nd Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (COP/MOP2) was held in Nairobi, Kenya, on November 6-7.

Issues discussed include, among others, the future framework beyond 2012, adaptation to climate change, technology transfer, and CDM. The conference also featured the first review of the Kyoto Protocol. The second review of the Protocol will be held at COP/MOP4 in 2008.
