Results of the 2nd session of the plenary meeting to determine modalities and institutional arrangements for an intergovernmental science-policy platform on biodiversity and ecosystem services
The second session of the plenary meeting to determine modalities and institutional arrangements for an intergovernmental science-policy platform on biodiversity and ecosystem services (IPBES) was held in Panama city from 16 through 21 April 2012. At the meeting, IPBES was officially launched based on the relevant decisions adopted. It was also decided that its secretariat would be hosted in Bonn, Germany.
