Starting Detailed Monitoring in the Area where the National Government Implements Decontamination Based on the Act on Special Measures concerning the Handling of Pollution by Radioactive Materials.

The MOE will implement detailed monitoring from November 7 to next February in the area where the national government implements decontamination based on the Act on Special Measures concerning the Handling of Pollution by Radioactive Materials. Measuring will be performed by an unmanned helicopter, a monitoring car, and a measuring person, and then a detailed air dose distribution map mainly for residences will be created. A decontamination implementation plan will be developed by referring to the contaminated condition grasped by this monitoring.
